My experience with a certain law firm has been one of the worst encounters I have ever had. If negative stars were an option, I would have given them. In March of 2021, I hired this law firm for a cheap uncontested divorce that I needed. At this time, my ex-spouse and I signed everything after it was done correctly, and it was sent to the court on 19th October 2021. A week later, the judge informed us that the original petition was incorrect as it was signed by the attorney incorrectly. They submitted a corrected petition which the judge confirmed was fine, but another issue arose.

As it turns out, the documents of the previous family were still attached to my case, which they sent to the court. As a result, I was informed that I had to go to trial for an uncontested divorce - a procedure that is quite unusual. On the day of the trial on 10th January, the judge informed me that no judge would grant the divorce as the paperwork was not correctly done, despite both parties agreeing with it. Due to a lack of competence and knowledge from their attorneys, I have paid almost $8,000 to this law firm and currently have an outstanding balance of around $4,000.

Not only did they charge me for every redo, but they charged me for the trial that would have never happened had I hired a more competent attorney.
